ASTC 2018 Sweepstakes Judge Ms. Jody Paquette Garcini Comments

It was indeed an honor and privilege to be invited to judge the Sweepstakes at the 2018 American Shih Tzu Club National Specialty especially on the year my mother was also judging. Thank you to the ASTC members for electing me to be your judge. I was very impressed with the quality of puppies shown to me. I was excited to see the friendly and outgoing temperaments as they strutted around the ring so proudly with tails and heads held high. The majority were well trained and presented immaculately.

I felt my two overall winners exuded breed type. Very pleasing heads with exceptional correct warm expression. Both had lots of body, forechest, bone and substance. Both had excellent movement, effortless with good reach and drive. The Best in Sweepstakes Winner had the best overall balance and proportion.

Again I had a very enjoyable day and would like to thank the club for the invitation.
